Hair Care Tips Every Teen Should Know

The best hair is healthy hair, and healthy hair is tied in with deciding the correct hair care system for your hair type. It begins with your individual hair preferences. Do you prefer to have thick curly locks that bounce around when you move your head? Or do you prefer a slick straight look where your hair hangs straight?

Either way it comes down to only a few simple guidelines to get your hair where you want, and a few extra tips on top to keep you it on the right track. For example managing the oil produced by your hair, when to wash away the excess oil, and when to use organic hair growth oil to manage dryness and help your hair grow.

Rethink About Your Washing Routine

How often you wash your hair will totally be determined by your hair type. For some people, it’s best for them to wash their hair every 1-2 days, and for other people, it’s better to wash weekly. Using excessively hot or cold water does your hair no benefits. In fact, water that is too high in temperature will dry out your hair and scalp. Use your fingertips and not your nails to scrub your scalp. Be sure to wash out the product you used completely.

The main purpose for washing your hair, besides cleaning it, is to get rid of the excess oil your hair produces. Some people’s hair produces a lot more of that oil, so they need to rid themselves of the excess. A lot of people don’t produce enough hair oil, and so a great easy alternative is some essential hair growth oil.

Dry Your Hair Naturally

You may not know this, but there is a rather high possibility that you are unleashing a lot of harm on your hair when brushing and drying it. Here's a couple of things you have to remember once you are done with the shower:

  • Use a microfiber towel: Pre-dry your hair with a microfiber towel once you step out of the shower. Avoid using a terry cloth towel as it can tangle your hair, make it frizzy, and cause it to break.

  • Prevent blow drying: The hot air from blow dryers harms your hair by drying it out. So if you do use a blow dryer, make sure to use some kind of organic hair growth oil to deter the effects of the excess heat.

Blow dry, simply after your hair is partly dry: If you can't totally quit using a blow dryer, at that point simply make this one basic modification. Blow-dry your hair and once it is 70% dry, stop. Now only use your hands to shake off the excess water in your hair. This should help prevent the dryness caused by blow dryer.

    Trim your Hair

Get your hair trimmed around at regular intervals (Approx every two months). This is particularly essential for developing out layers, as well as helps to reshape and make each phase of developing a hairstyle.

Protect Your Hair From The Sun And Pollution

You may not know this, but every time you move out, your hair is being attacked by the sun and the endless pollution drifting through the air. In this way, it's important that you find a way to shield your hair  from them:

    • Cover with the help of cap/scarf: Cover your hair the moment you step outside, particularly amid summers. A cap or a scarf can go a long way in shielding your hair from serious sun harm.

    • Try not to venture out with slick/wet hair: If you’ve used an organic hair growth oil then you should wait sometime before heading out, otherwise dust and dirt may be more likely to latch onto your hair.

    • Use a hair sunscreen: Invest in a hair sunscreen and use it religiously to shield your hair from the bright (UV) beams of the sun.

Having beautiful hair doesn't occur by default, but by acknowledging these hair care tips, and using the proper essential hair growth oils and other products . Only after a couple of weeks of following these tips should you be able to see some major changes, and say goodbye to bad hair days.
